Ryan Smith is a Senior Associate Attorney with Wiggam Law in Atlanta, Georgia. Ryan began working at Wiggam Law in April 2019 as a case coordinator, serving as a liaison between the law firm and our clients to help obtain important documents, track deadlines, answer client questions, and keep clients updated on their case. Now, as an associate attorney, Ryan represents clients dealing with an assortment of IRS and state tax matters including resolving IRS tax debt, responding to IRS audit letters and writing IRS audit reconsideration letters, and working to release IRS wage garnishments and IRS levies.

Ryan was born in Roswell, Georgia, and has lived in the Metro Atlanta area for most of his life. He earned his B.S. in financial management, with an emphasis on real estate, from Clemson University in 2006. Ryan received his J.D. in 2010 from the Florida Coastal School of Law, where he graduated with both Pro Bono Honors and a sports law certificate.

Prior to working at Wiggam Law, Ryan’s professional background includes seven years of experience as an IT project manager, where he implemented multimillion-dollar projects in the telecom industry.

Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys exploring Atlanta and its foodie scene. You can often find him at an Atlanta United match, an Atlanta Braves game, or attending a Clemson football game—he is an avid Tigers fan. Ryan also enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering through his church.
