Nina Palamaris is an Associate Attorney at Wiggam Law in Atlanta, Georgia. Nina is experienced in representing individuals and businesses throughout a broad range of complex tax controversy matters, including state and federal collections, syndicated conservation easements, audits, innocent spouse relief, penalty abatements, and various appeals. She enjoys identifying and effectuating the best resolution possible for her clients.
After completing her undergraduate degree at American University, Nina earned her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law, where she received the National Association of Women Lawyers Recognition Award and the Pro Bono Service Award.
Outside of work, Nina enjoys ceramics, attending concerts, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones (especially her cat, Gordon).

Tax Attorney Representing Individuals and Businesses with IRS and State Controversies
My name is Constantina “Nina” Palamaris and I am a tax attorney at Wiggam Law in Atlanta, Georgia. I work primarily from our Midtown office. My practice focuses on tax controversies, including representing investors of conservation easements, defending audits, resolving various state and federal collections matters, and international compliance. I also have experience with employee classification issues, employee retention credit (ERC) cases, penalty and interest abatements, innocent spouse relief claims, and successful lien discharges. I have represented clients across the United States and in several foreign countries.
I am passionate about serving clients by identifying their goals, recommending tailored relief plans based on their needs, then entering sustainable resolution. While every matter is different, I always endeavor to effectuate the best possible outcome for my clients.
As an undergraduate, I studied Justice and Law at American University. Focused on my goal of becoming an attorney, I earned my bachelor’s degree in just 18 months, graduating in December of 2019. I then attended Elon University School of Law.
I graduated from Elon Law in 2023, and passed the February 2024 D.C. Bar Exam.
Throughout my time at Elon Law, I was heavily involved in campus events and public service. I co-founded Elon Law’s Criminal Expungement Clinic, I served as the President of the Women’s Law Association, and volunteered as a Peer Mentor on the Community Development Committee. I volunteered to draft wills for first responders, to conduct name changes for LGBTQ+ individuals, to teach elementary school children about civics through the North Carolina Bar’s Lawyers for Literacy Program, and transcribed legal documents for the People Not Property initiative. I was also a Research Assistant to Professor David S. Levine, supporting his scholarship on intersections of intellectual property, internet law, civil rights, and professionalism. Leveraging this experience, I authored an article on a novel intersection of internet and criminal law, which won Elon University's university-wide Multimodal Writing Competition. At my graduation from Elon Law, I received both the Pro Bono Service Award and the National Association of Women Lawyers Award, in recognition of my commitment to public interest and service to others.
I am a native English and Greek speaker, and I am professionally proficient in French. In my free time, I do ceramics, bake bread and cakes, and enjoy spending time with my partner and our beloved cat, Gordon.
