Wiggam Law Adds Seven Talented Professionals to Bolster Growing Tax Practice 

Three associate attorneys and two junior paralegals increase the firm’s capacity

ATLANTA, GA., March 31, 2025 – Wiggam Law continues to expand its team with the addition of seven new professionals in the Southeast. The firm welcomes Nicole Hewitt as head of client experience; associate attorneys Clay ChildressPatrick Hanson and Tyler Lussier; junior paralegals Sade’ Henry and Rebekah Weyman; and enrolled agent Rochelle Whiles. Their arrival follows the recent hire of expert tax litigator Richard Nessler, bringing the firm’s total headcount to 35 in the past year.

Childress, Hanson and Lussier will focus on tax controversy matters, IRS debt resolution and audit representation. Henry and Weyman will support the firm’s legal team in case preparation and research, while Whiles, an enrolled agent, will assist clients in navigating IRS and state tax challenges. Hewitt, as head of client experience, will oversee and enhance client relations, ensuring individuals and businesses receive top-tier support.

Childress specializes in state and local tax (SALT) matters and advises clients on multistate litigation, audit defense and tax policy, ensuring compliance with state, local, federal and international tax laws in transactions, audits and litigation. He earned a Master of Laws in taxation from New York University School of Law, graduated with honors from Emory University School of Law and completed his undergraduate studies at Georgia State University.

Hanson focuses his practice on regulatory matters and public interests. He previously served as an assistant attorney general in the State of Georgia Office of the Attorney General, working in the Regulated Public Interests division for two years. Hanson earned his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law.

Lussier specializes in federal, state, and international tax matters. He has experience in mergers and acquisitions, where he focused on tax due diligence, structuring, and transaction cost analyses. Lussier is adept at identifying tax exposure and providing strategic solutions to minimize risk. He earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where he was awarded the Federal Income Tax Law CALI Book Award and provided pro bono service through the Volunteer Income Tax Association. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Georgia.
