Jana Paterson

Jana Paterson is an associate attorney at Wiggam Law in Atlanta, GA. Jana provides counsel and assistance to clients navigating complicated tax issues and advocates for optimal solutions for their tax-related matters.

After graduating from Georgia State University College of Law in 2008, Jana began her career focused on real estate and tax, finding a special interest in the intersection of the two. Since then, Jana has worked in many facets of the real estate industry, from many years of residential real estate closings to managing evictions for a large, national client. Jana narrowed her focus on tax law by joining Wiggam Law’s team of expert tax attorneys, and she finds great satisfaction in helping clients manage the overwhelming stress of taxation issues.

When not working, Jana enjoys gardening, hiking, and reading. She is active in animal welfare; she often opens her home to foster pets and helps run a small non-profit organization that provides funding for spay and neuter surgeries for community cats. Jana also enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially on a warm afternoon on a shady patio.
