Elijah McKinley

Associate Attorney

Elijah McKinley’s path to the legal profession began early, shaped by a passion for justice, strategy, and advocacy. While attending Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia, he began gaining firsthand exposure to the legal world through internships with distinguished legal leaders, including Carl Singley, former Dean of Students at Temple University School of Law, and the Honorable Justice Juanita Kidd Stout of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. These formative experiences helped set the foundation for a career defined by thoughtful counsel and dedicated client advocacy.

Mr. McKinley went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State University, where he strengthened his analytical and strategic thinking skills. During this time, he also interned with Merrill Lynch, gaining valuable insight into financial systems and business principles that would later inform his work advising entrepreneurs and professionals.
Following graduation, Mr. McKinley relocated to Washington, DC, where he joined Wilson Enterprises, a respected commercial real estate development firm. There he managed operations for the historic Florida Avenue Grill while apprenticing on the Lacey Condominium development project, experiences that refined his leadership, operational management, and business development skills.

While working professionally, Mr. McKinley pursued his legal education at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. During law school, he served as a Teaching Assistant in Criminal Law under DC Senior Appellate Judge William C. Pryor, an appointment that reflected his academic excellence and deep understanding of legal doctrine.

After being admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2011—sworn in by the Honorable Judge Leon Tucker—Mr. McKinley clerked for Judge Glyniss D. Hill in the Major Crimes Division at the Juanita Kidd Stout Center for Criminal Justice in Philadelphia. The experience provided invaluable courtroom insight and sharpened his litigation perspective.
Mr. McKinley later founded his own private practice, advising clients in business law, tax representation, and entertainment law. Over the course of his career, he has handled a wide range of complex legal matters, developing a reputation for strategic negotiation, thorough legal analysis, and client-centered advocacy.

Today, Mr. McKinley serves as an Associate Attorney with Wiggam Law Tax Resolution Attorneys in Atlanta, Georgia. With more than a decade of legal experience, he focuses on tax resolution and controversy matters for individuals and businesses. His work includes negotiating with IRS Revenue Officers and state authorities, preparing Offers in Compromise, resolving audits, and guiding clients through complex tax disputes.

Combining legal expertise with business insight, Mr. McKinley approaches each case with a practical mindset and a commitment to achieving meaningful results. His mission is simple: to help clients navigate legal challenges with confidence, clarity, and trusted representation.
