Patrick Hanson
Associate Attorney
Patrick Hanson is an Associate Attorney at Wiggam Law in Atlanta, Georgia. Patrick represents individuals and businesses in various state and federal tax matters, including resolving and negotiating IRS tax debts, audit reconsiderations, penalty waivers/abatements, and working to obtain the release of IRS levies and wage garnishments. He enjoys serving his clients and providing them with peace of mind.
Patrick is a Missouri native who graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a B.A. in philosophy. Patrick relocated to Atlanta with his wife in 2012 and graduated from the Georgia State University College of Law in 2023. During law school, Patrick was involved in the Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer’s Clinic, where he helped individuals resolve various federal tax issues.
Prior to joining Wiggam Law, Patrick served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia. In this role, Patrick represented state agencies in administrative hearings and state and federal courts.
When not working, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, attending concerts, running, mountain biking, and skiing.
