Jeremy Simpson is an Associate Attorney at Wiggam Law in Atlanta, Georgia. Jeremy enjoys assisting clients and providing them with comfort as they attempt to navigate the ever-evolving and complex tax code and its regulations. Jeremy represents clients dealing with various IRS and state tax matters, including resolving and settling IRS tax debt, responding to IRS audit letters and various notices, and working to release IRS levies and wage garnishments.

Jeremy was born in Valdosta, Georgia but spent most of his life in the Metro Atlanta area. He earned his B.A. in English from Kennesaw State University with a Minor in Film Studies in 2016, whereafter he worked in the film industry and contributed to films such as Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp. Jeremy earned his M.A. in English from Georgia State University in 2020, where he taught English Composition and was a Mentoring Tutor at the Georgia State Writing Studio.

In 2023, Jeremy received his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law in Macon, Georgia, along with a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research, and Drafting. At Mercer, Jeremy was the class lead in Mercer’s Low-Income Tax Clinic and attained the top grade in multiple courses, including Federal Income Tax, Taxation of Pass-Through Entities, Advanced Litigation Drafting, and Advanced Writing Group. Jeremy’s drive and interest in tax law led to him being awarded the 2023 State Bar of Georgia Tax Student of the Year Award.

Outside of the office, Jeremy enjoys playing and producing music, working on creative writing endeavors, trekking through nature, watching as many movies as possible, and spending time with his wife and their cat.
